Cortland, NY- The Alfred State Women's Outdoor Track and Field team turned in an impressive showing at the SUNYAC Championships, highlighted by a victory in the high jump and several top-10 finishes across track and field events.

Emily Richardson set the tone for the Pioneers with a standout performance in the high jump, clearing 1.62 meters to secure first place and claiming the team's lone event win of the day. Richardson doubled back on the track as well, earning an eighth-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.83.
In the middle-distance events,
Oli Kraynik delivered one of the team's strongest track performances, racing to second place in the 800 meters with a time of 2:12.46.
The Pioneers also excelled in the multi-events, where
Alysha Calvo put together a complete and consistent effort to finish second in the heptathlon, scoring 3640 points and placing herself among the top all-around athletes in the field.
Alfred State added more top-10 results in the field events.
Mya Goral cleared 2.75 meters in the pole vault to finish eighth, while
Lily Rafferty earned eighth place in the javelin with a throw of 23.93 meters.
