Three Pioneers Set All-Time Records At First Outdoor Meet

Selinsgrove, PA- The Alfred State Women's Outdoor Track and Field team traveled to Susquehanna University for the Jim Taylor Duals this weekend.
 
Emily Richardson, most recently the first female track and field athlete in Alfred State history to qualify for NCAA Championships, took home first place in the high jump event with a best of 1.63 meters. With this score she set a new high jump record for Alfred State and qualified for the AARTFC's.
 
In the 3000m steeplechase, Ava Sylvester finished in fifth place with a time of 13:12.98 which now puts her second all-time in Alfred State history in this event.
 
In the 1500m race, Oli Kraynik notched seventh place with a time of 5:02.64 which puts her seventh all-time in Alfred State history.
 
ASC heads to Slippery Rock University for the Dave Labor Invite this coming weekend.
