Brockport, NY- The Alfred State Women's Indoor Track and Field team competed at the SUNYAC Championships this weekend where two Pioneers qualified for the AARTFC's. The team placed eighth overall with a total of 28.5 points.

Oli Kraynik took home second place in the 800m with an impressive time of 2:14.50, qualifying her for next weekend. With this time she moved into 19
th place in the NCAA D3.

Emily Richardson took second place in the high jump after a jump off of seven extra jumps to decide a winner. Richardsons best was 1.65 meters, qualifying her for the AARTFC's.

Janiesha Dureny notched sixth place in shot put with a best throw of 11.46 meters. She is now seventh all-time is ASC history for this event.

In the women's pentathlon,
Alysha Calvo took fifth overall. In the 60m hurdles she notched sixth, in high jump she placed fifth, in shot put she placed sixth and in long jump she took home first place with a best of 5.23 meters. Calvo is now second in ASC all time history for this event.

The AARTFC's will take place next weekend with times still to be determined.
