Houghton, NY- The Alfred State Women's Indoor Track and Field team competed at the Houghton Last Chance Qualifiers today with many Pioneers finishing in the top-10.
Emily Richardson took home first place in the high jump with a best of 1.69 meters. Bri Prescott would then notch third place with a best jump of 1.35 meters.
In the mile,
Ashlen Rossi secured third place, crossing the finish line in 5:46.89.
Charis Evans also notched third place but in the 60m hurdles with a time of 10.86 seconds.
Ava Sylvester crossed the finish line in fourth place in the 800m race in 2:34.44 minutes.
In the 200m dash,
Keira Crahan took home fifth place with a time of 29.33 seconds. Evans also notched eighth place with a time of 30.93 seconds.
In the 3000m, Caity Strecker crossed the finish line in fifth place with a time of 12:45.98 while
Karah Blackwell took home seventh place with a time of 14.09.88.
Lily Rafferty secured third place in the weighted throw with a best throw of 13.18 meters. She also placed seventh in shot put with a best of 8.87 meters.
In pole vault,
Mya Goral took second place as she had a best jump of 2.57 meters.
Zoe Estwick notched fifth place in the long jump, her best being 4.16 meters.
SUNYAC Indoor Championships will begin next weekend in Brockport, NY.
