Ithaca, NY- The Alfred State Women's Indoor Track and Field team traveled and competed at the Ithaca College Six Way Invitational. Oli Kraynik and Emily Richardson bringing home first place finishes.
 
In the 800m, Kraynik crossed the finish line in first place with an impressive time of 2:17.87.
 
In the high jump, Richardson notched first place with a best jump of 1.64 meters.
 
The group of Richardson, Alysha Calvo, Kiera Crahan and Nichole Leitten finished fifth in the 4x200 race, finishing with a time of 1:54.41. In the 3000m, Ashlen Rossi crossed the finish line in 11:28.77, placing eighth. Ava Sylvester followed behind, coming in 11^th place with a time of 12:28.35.
 
Janiesha Dureny placed eighth in the shot put, with a best throw of 11.02 meters, while also placing 13^th in the weighted throw with a best of 11.92 meters.
 
The team will head to Nazareth University next Saturday, start time to be determined.
