Brockport, NY- The Alfred State Women's Track and Field team competed at the Brockport Outdoor Multi & Invitational with two Pios times placing them in the top 10 all time in Alfred History in their events.
Emily Richardson took home first place in the 100m with an impressive time of 12.82 which earned her a spot in the top 10 all time for Alfred.
Haley Beman notched second place behind Richardson with a time of 12.95.
Oli Kraynik took home first place in the 800m and qualified for the AARTFCs with an impressive time of 2:19.35.
Ava Sylvester grabbed fourth place in the 3000m steeplechase with a solid time of 13:31.14 which earned her a spot in the top 5 all time for Alfred in her event.
In the 4x100, a team of Beman, Richardson,
Charis Evans and
Madison Snayczuk earned second place crossing the finish line with a time of 51.61.
In the 4x400, a team of Evans, Kraynik,
Hailey Kumpf and
Olivia Plummer grabbed third place with a time of 4:41.93.
Beman notched third place in the long jump final with a best jump of 5.08 meters.
In the discus throw final,
Janiesha Dureny secured third place with a best throw of 35.59 meters.
The Pioneers will host their Alumni Open this Friday, events beginning at 3 pm.
