Houghton, NY- The Alfred State Women's Track and Field team had a good showing at the Houghton Last Chance Conference Qualifier!
 
In the 60m final, Emily Richardson notched third place with an impressive time of 8.25. Haley Beman was right behind her with a time of 8.28. In the 200m final, Richardson earned herself second place with a time of 27.37, Beman again right behind her in third place with a time of 27.52.
 
In the 400m final, Heather Spoton came in fourth place with a time of 1:20.02.
 
Olivia Plummer notched fifth place in the 800m final with an impressive time of 2:33.85.
 
In the 3000m final, Caity Strecker came in third place with a time of 13:03.04.
 
Ava Sylvester notched sixth place in the 5000m final with a time of 22:27.33.
 
Charis Evans notched herself a second-place title in the 60m hurdles final with an impressive time of 10.48.
 
Anna Koszelak earned eighth place in shot put with a best throw of 8.25 meters. In the weighted throw final, Koszelak notched fourth place with a best throw of 12.33 meters. Mackenzie Gillette notched seventh with a best throw of 12.02 meters.
 
The Pioneers will head to the SUNYAC Championships next Friday at Brockport.
