Houghton, NY- The Alfred State Women's Track and Field team had a good outing at the Highlanders Invite.
Oli Kraynik took home first in the 800-meter run, crossing the line in 2:20.50.
In the 200-meter run,
Emily Richardson notched eighth place with a time of 28.44. She also placed second in the high jump; her best jump was 1.45 meters.
Ava Sylvester and Caity Stecker placed 13
th and 14
th respectively in the 3000-meter run with times of 12:47.84 and 13:23.73.
In shot put, Janiesha Durney came with the best throw for the Pioneers, placing 15
th with a 8.95 meter throw.
In the weighted throw, Mackenzie Gillette placed 11
th with a 12.17 meter throw.
