Rochester, NY- The Alfred State women's track and field team came away with ten top-10 finishes at the Cardinal Classic
Sarah Rivet notched an eighth-place finish in the 200-meter final with a time of 26.92. Then in the 400-meter final Lily Schnell notched an eighth-place finish after crossing the line in 1:04.25. In the 1500-meter final, Izzy Popoff ran a 5:01.79 for sixth place.
Them in the 400-meter hurdles final, Charis Evans and Adriana Gill finished in fifth and sixth respectively. Laura Walter would jump 2.70 meters in the pole vault for ninth place, then followed with a 10th place finish in the long jump with a best jump of 4.57 meters. Also in this event, Madison Snayczuk had a best jump of 5.07 meters for fifth. Snayczuk followed with a second-place finish in the triple jump after jumping 10.43 meters.
The team of Rivet, Popoff, Schnell, and Oli Kraynik finished second in the 4x400 with a time of 4:11.83.
