Geneseo, NY- The Alfred State Women's Track & Field team tallied eight top-15 finishes in the outdoor season opener at Geneseo.

Sarah Rivet finished in the top-15 in both the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. In the 100-meter dash she crossed the line in 13.18 for 15^th place, then in the 200-meter dash she crossed the line in 27.35 for 14^th place.

In the 400-meter dash, Lily Schnell finished in 14^th place with a time of 1:06.20. Then in the 800-meter run, Hailey Kumpf finished 15^th with a time of 2:30.47.

Looking at the field events, both Madison Snayczuk and Lily Schnell finished in the top-15 in the long jump. Snayczuk had a best jump of 4.77 meters for 10^th place, while Schnell jumped 4.70 meters for 13^th place. Laura Walter finished 15^th in the pole vault after a best jump of 2.50 meters.
