Alfred, NY- Jack Leahy, senior center-back for the Alfred State Men's Soccer team was announced Third Team All-American. This is a first in program history and the fourth time in school history that we have an All-American!
 
Leahy was a brutal force on the field for the Pioneers throughout his time at Alfred State. He has been named Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Region, twice in his career. Jack is also a 3x All-Conference Honoree and 3x All Conference Tournament Team.
 
Under Leahy's years as a Pio, he has secured an AMCC Regular Season Championship, AMCC Tournament Championship and as appeared in the NCAA Tournament.
 
Head Coach, Gabe Kuhn said "Jack Leahy has helped this program grow and develop into a competitive program in our region. Jack is a very unselfish player who always does what's best for the team. He is what we are at Alfred State – competitive, passionate, tough, and a team first player".
