Alfred, NY- Ten Alfred State soccer players take home All-Conference Team awards and head coach, Gabe Kuhn is awarded Coach of the Year.

Jack Leahy concludes his collegiate soccer career as he is named Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference. Leahy was named Pre-season Defensive Player of the Year prior to the start of the season and saw that through. Jack played in a total of 67 games, scoring 12 goals and tallying 13 assists all while carrying the Pios backline for four years.

Freshman forward,
Travis Scandalis was named Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-Conference as he had a spectacular season for the Pioneers. Scandalis scored 10 goals this 2024 season and had a .649 shot on goal percentage.
Gabe Kuhn was also deservingly named Coach of the Year. Kuhn just completed his sixth year as ASC's Head Men's Soccer Coach. Last season the Pioneers won their first AMCC Conference Championship Title and were a penalty goal away from the same title this season. This marks Kuhns second year being named Coach of the Year.
Joining Leahy and Scandalis with First Team All-Conference awards are
Jackson Powers,
Jean Baptiste Kagde and
Henry Leahy. Powers has been a four-year middle for the Pioneers, tallying 16 goals and 17 assists on his career. Kagde has been a four-year solid center-back starting in 55 contests for the Pios. Junior,
Henry Leahy has been an impressive middle for ASC, going into his senior year with 10 goals and a .526 shot on goal percentage.

Senior forwards,
Chuck Domm and
Nuri Sarbudak were named Second Team All-Conference. Domm tallied eight goals this season, as he brought home a hat-trick against Pitt-Bradford. Sarbudak is a four-year forward, leading with a total of 41 goals in his career as a Pio. These two worked hard together offensively to attack the net.Â

Josh Price is a four-year middle, and he secured a Third Team All-Conference award to close out his career. Price started in 70 games throughout his career, totaling four goals and eight assists. Sophomore defender,
Liam Hyatt also notched a Third Team All-Conference award as he has been critical for the Pioneers backline. Lastly, goalkeeper
Alexander Preston, added the same award as Price and Hyatt. Preston guarded the Pios net for 17 games as he earned 10 wins and tallied 21 saves.
