Women's 4x100 Runs Season Best at Nazareth

The Alfred State women's track and field team competed at the ROC City Final Qualifier at Nazareth on Sunday.

The 4x100-meter relay of Madeline Cole (Homer), Sarah Rivet (Waterford/ Shenendehowa), Laura Walter (Lancaster) and Madison Snayczuk (Machias/Pioneer) ran a season best 51.35 to place 6th.

Rivet finished 7th in the 400-meter hurdles with a personal best 1:08.70 which puts her 6th on the Alfred State All-Time list.

Emma Taggart (New Windsor) took 5th in high jump with a mark of 1.55m.

Nicole Hume (Alexander) was 10th in discus with 32.92m and 15th in hammer with 40.31.

The Pioneers will compete at the AARTFC Championships on Wednesday and Thursday May 18-19.
