MEET RESULTS
The Alfred State women's track and field team had seven top-ten finishes at the Utica Holiday Classic on Saturday and scored 19 points.
Emma Taggart (New Windsor, MD/Francis Scott Key) placed fifth in long jump with a mark of 4.97 meters (16 ft 3 ¾ in) and was sixth in high jump with 1.51 meters (4ft 11 ½ in).
Oluwatobi Adebowale finished fifth in weight throw with a mark of 13.58 meters (44 ft 6 ¾ in).
Summer Kier (East Rochester) took sixth in the 3000-meters with a time of 13:51.99.
Alyssa Delany (Hornell) placed seventh in triple jump with a mark of 10.21 meters (33 ft 6 in).
Sarah Rivet (Waterford/Shenendehowa) was eighth in the 600-meters in 1:53.68.
Nicole Hume finished tenth in shot put with a mark of 9.46 meters (31 ft 0 ½ in).
The Pioneers will be back to compete on Saturday, Jan. 22 when they head to Brockport.
