Emma Taggart (New Windsor, MD) led the way as the Alfred State women's track & field team competed at the RIT Midseason Meet.

Taggart was one of three Pioneers to earn top 10 finishes on the night. She was 3rd in the 60 hurdles in 9.76.

Katie Watkins (Addison) was 7th in the 3,000 (12:38.73) and Lauren Parsell (Pioneer) was 9th in the high jump (9.76 m).

The Pioneers entered the meet ranked #19 in the latest USTFCCCA Mideast poll.

Some members of the team will head to Nazareth next weekend.
