The Alfred State women's indoor track & field team competed at the Brockport Golden Eagle Multi & Invitational this weekend. The team finished the event in 12th place.

Kathryn Watkins (Addison) was 7th in the 1,000 (3:48.17) while Katherine Frascella (Franklinville) was 8th (3:50.01) to lead the way.

Veronica Dailey (Addison) was 16th in the 1 mile (5:59.07) while Sophie Gonzalez (Bronx/Kings Park) was 19th in the 60 m dash (8.71).

Brockport won the women's title with 199 points followed by Rochester (111) and RIT (101). 

The Pioneers will compete again next Friday when they travel to RIT.
