Alfred, NY - The Alfred State women's soccer team has announced its 2026 schedule as the Pioneers prepare for another competitive season and their first look of the SUNYAC.
The Pioneers return a strong group of starters from last season, providing valuable experience and leadership for a talented roster that also features several young players. The new additions have made an immediate impact, adjusting well to the team and contributing to an increased speed of play and a strong soccer IQ.

Anne Holmok. "We have a great mix of returning experience and young talent, and the new players have done a fantastic job adjusting to our style of play and contributing to the team."
The combination of talented young players and the leadership of the team's upperclassmen has created an exciting atmosphere heading into the season. With everyone continuing to work together and build chemistry, the Pioneers are eager to see what they can accomplish this fall.
With a strong work ethic, experienced leadership, and an exciting group of young talent, the Alfred State women's soccer team is ready to make this season one to remember.
The Pioneers are set to play 16 regular season matches, with eight contests at Pioneer Stadium and eight on the road. The schedule has a mix of non-conference competitions as well as SUNYAC opponents, providing the Pioneers with opportunities to build momentum heading into the postseason. Senior Defender

The 2026 season will be underway with a competitive Alfred Cup matchup against Alfred University on September 1st at 7 p.m. at Pioneer Stadium. The Pioneers will then hit the road for their next two contests traveling to Thiel College on September 5th for a 1 p.m. match before heading to Keuka College to take on the Wolves on September 8th for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
Alfred State returns to Pioneer Stadium on September 12th to host SUNY Geneseo at 1 p.m. The Pioneers will then travel to the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford on September 16th before returning to Pioneer Stadium on September 19th to welcome the Red Dragons of Cortland for a 4 p.m. matchup.
The Pioneers will close out September with two road contests, beginning with a trip to La Roche University on September 26th. Alfred State will then travel to SUNY Morrisville on September 30th for a 4 p.m. match.
October opens with a home game and a pair of road contests, as the Pioneers host Fredonia at Pioneer Stadium on October 3rd at 1 p.m. before traveling to Hilbert College to face the Hawks on October 6th. Alfred State will then make the trip to SUNY Delhi on October 10th for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
The Pioneers return home on October 14th when they host Buffalo State at 6 p.m. Alfred State will then travel to SUNY Cobleskill on October 17th before making the trek to Oswego State on October 21st.
The regular season concludes on October 24 when the Pioneers host Oneonta at Pioneer Stadium at 1 p.m. Following the regular season, Alfred State will look to continue its season in the SUNYAC Championship tournament, with the quarterfinals scheduled for October 31st, semifinals on November 4th and the championship match on November 7th.
With a competitive schedule ahead, the Pioneers will look to build on last season's success while taking on the challenge of joining the SUNYAC. The team will look to continue to develop throughout the fall and position themselves for another postseason run.
