Cortland, NY- The Alfred State Outdoor Men's Track and Field team delivered one of their strongest collective performances of the season at the SUNYAC Championships, stacking event victories and top-10 finishes across the track and field lineup. Behind three individual champions and several standout efforts, the Pioneers made their presence felt from start to finish.

Christian Wescott set the tone on the track with a dominant performance in the 800 meters, pulling away from the field to claim first place in 1:53.92.
In the field events,
JJ Howard soared to the top of the high jump, clearing 2.00 meters to earn first place and continue his strong season.

The Pioneers completed their trio of victories in the pole vault, where
Ben VanVranken controlled the competition and took 1st place with a clearance of 4.70m, outjumping the field by a wide margin.

In the sprints,
Jerome Harmon delivered a sharp performance in the 100m dash, clocking 10.65 to secure sixth place. Andrew Earley put together a smooth and controlled race in the 400m hurdles, earning fifth place with a time of 57.66.

The throws unit added valuable scoring as well as
Brandon Russell placed sixth in the discus with a mark of 42.72 meters, while
Greg Raymond powered his way to a fourth place finish in the hammer throw, launching 54.98 meters.

In the jumps,
Aden Alexander secured eighth place in the triple jump with a leap of 13.41 meters. The pole vault crew added even more depth, with
Colin Daley tying for seventh place after clearing 3.80 meters.

The Pioneers head to the Ithaca In-Between Meet next weekend.
