Alfred, NY- This week's Pioneer Athletes of the Week are Zach Young (Baseball) and Karlee Hargather (Women's Lacrosse).
 

Karlee Hargather (Hilton, NY, Hilton) fe helped lead the Pioneers to their first AMCC Conference Title while surpassing the 100 career points mark in just two seasons. In the AMCC semifinals, Hargather tallied three goals, one assist, and eight ground balls. In th AMCC Championship game, she ended with four goals and four assists, with seven groundballs and nine draw control wins. She earned All-Tourament honors as well.

 

Zach Young (Binghamton, NY, Chenango Forks) helped lead the Pioneers to a 2-1 week while also surpassing the 100 career hit mark as a Pioneer in just two years. On the week, Young went 7-13 with two homeruns and eight RBIs.
