Buffalo, NY- The women's swim and dive team moves into fourth at the end of day three of the AMCC-SUNYAC championship. They tallied 371 points so far.
Mallory O'Keefe took the 100 fly championship after pulling away from the pack to touch the wall in 57.90. That time set a new AMCC record, Championship Meet record, and School record. Adriana Gill finished in 11th with a time of 1:03.21.
Emma Merrick finished second overall in the 400 IM after touching the wall in 4:49.10. She is the AMCC champion with that time.
Madison Snayczuk took sixth place in the 200 free, with a time of 1:59.13. Lydia Lapierre would finish first in the B – Final to take ninth with a time of 2:03.62.
Alyssa James tallied a second-place finish in the 100 back, after touching the wall in 1:00.03.
On the 1-meter board, Shelby Nerber tallied a score of 278.25 to take eighth, while Haleena Reygers finished first in the B-Final for ninth with a score of 290.10.
The team of James, Merrick, O'Keefe, and Snayczuk came in second in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:59.48. With that time, they set a new school record. So far, the Pioneers have set three AMCC records, two Conference Meet records, and four School records.
The Pioneers will be back in the pool at 10 am for session nine. The current top three team rankings are: 1. Cortland- 678, 2. Penn State Behrend- 470, and 3. Oswego- 373.
