Alfred, NY- The Alfred State women's swim and dive team earned CSCAA (College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America) Scholar All-America Team honor for the fall.

To earn this prestigious recognition, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) above 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester. Of the selected teams, an impressive 654 recorded a GPA of 3.30 or higher, qualifying them for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings. The Pioneers were one of the 654 teams to boast 3.30 or higher GPA. The 15 women combined for a team GPA of 3.52.

Head Coach Zach Healy added, "I'm very proud of our women's team on this achievement! This marks the seventh straight semester that the women have achieved this, and the third semester since I've been here. Having the highest team GPA at Alfred State for the Fall is also definitely an added bonus! Great job ladies!"
