Alfred, NY - The Alfred State women's soccer had three players who was honored on the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team on Tuesday.

The three Pioneers were: Karlee Hargather (Hilton, NY, Hilton), Erin Drewiega (Springville, NY, Springville Griffith Institute), and Ella Fyock (Bliss, NY, Pioneer Senior).

The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.

To qualify, a student-athlete needs to have a least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and must compete in 90 percent of the institution's matches played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches.
