Alfred, NY- The Alfred State Football Program added four new members to the coaching staff, along with Ethan Williams stepping into a new role.

The Pioneer Football Program added Owen Albers as the Defensive Coordinator. Head Coach Scott Linn stated, "I am excited to have Coach Albers back on staff. I know he will have our defense ready to compete and play hard every week." On the offensive side of the ball, the previous Run Game Coordinator Ethan Williams will now serve as the Offensive Coordinator, after helping lead the Pioneers to a 6-5 record last season.

The staff also added Blaine Phillips as the Defensive Back Coach, Michael Piranio as the Running Back Coach, and Joe Gibson as the Defensive Lineman Coach. Coach Linn added, "Coach Piranio brings a load wealth of experience with him. He will have an immediate positive impact on our running backs, and Coach Phillips is a great addition to our staff. He will do a terrific job mentoring and coaching our defensive backs." He would go on to say, "We are thrilled to have Coach Gibson back at Alfred state, the defensive line will benefit from his knowledge."
