Noah Currier of the Alfred State football team was the first Pioneer to earn All-American honors, as D3football.com has named the 2025 All-America team in it's 27th season.
Noah Currier (Oakfield, NY, Oakfield-Alabama) added D3football All-American to his Junior year honors list. Currier was named a Third-Team Offense All-American as a Running back, and was named a Fourth-Team Specialist All-American as a Returner. This marks the first time in program history that Alfred State had an athlete earn this honor.
Currier's list of awards and honors this year are, All-ECAC Second-Team Offense honors as a Running back.He was recently named D3football First-Team Offense All-Region 2 as a Return Specialist and Second-Team Offense All-Region 2 as a Running Back. He also Empire 8 First-Team All-Conference honors as a Running Back and for All-Purpose, while earning Second-Team honors as a Return Specialist.
The Junior from Oakfield, NY led the Pioneers in touchdowns with a total of 25, he tallied 19 rushing, four receiving, and two kickoffs return touchdowns. On the ground, Currier had 1,234 rushing yards in 213 carries while averaging 5.8 yards per carry and 123.40 yards per game. Through the air, Currier tallied 357 yards on 42 receptions. As a returner, he totaled 501 yards on 19 kickoff returns for two touchdowns. He averaged 26.37 yards per return and put in a 97-yard touchdown return.
This is the 27th annual D3football.com All-America team, one of two recognized by the NCAA for inclusion in their record book (along with the AFCA).
