What Happened:
The Lions scored three runs during the bottom of the second inning.
During the top of the third inning Elijah Barinas (Bronx, NY/St. Raymond) scored off an error by the third baseman.
The Lions scored 9 unanswered runs between the third and fourth inning.
During the top of the fifth inning Owen Lansing (Lyncourt/Solvay) scored off a walk.
During the sixth inning Mersmann hit a sacrifice fly to plate Sam Dickerson (Cutchogue/Mattituck).

Nick Serce (Irondequoit) pitched 2 innings and allowed 6 hits, 7 runs, walked 1 and struck out 2.

What happened:
Behrend scored eight straight runs between the first and third inning.
Avallone singled through the left side plating Gavin Moore (Hilton) during the top of the fifth inning.
The Lions scored once during the bottom of the sixth inning.
In the top of the seventh inning Lansing singled to left field bringing home Tyler Petery (Schwenksville,PA / Pope John Paul II) and Sam Dickerson (Cutchogue/Mattituck).
Pioneer Pitching:
Chris Catoire (L, 4-1) (Brooklyn/Fort Hamilton) pitched 2 innings and allowed 7 hits, 7 runs, walked 3 and struck out 2.
