Alfred, NY- The Alfred State Baseball program saw Frank Grad garner 2026 Region VII All-Defensive Team Honors as announced by the ABCA on Thursday Afternoon.

Frank Grad (Spencerport, NY, Spencerport) had a great year for the Pioneers after batting .282 with 48 hits and eight stolen bases. He added four doubles, three homers, and two triples, totaling 17 RBIs. Grad had a huge impact on the ASC outfield as he had a 1.000 fielding percentage with 108 putouts and nine assists. He earned AMCC Third-Team All-Conference honors.

The 2026 ABCA NCAA Div. III Region All-Defensive teams have been announced in all 10 regions. The teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America & Coach of the Year Committee.
