Alfred, NY- The Alfred State softball team saw three members garner AMCC All-Conference honors as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning.
Nicole Youngberg and
Liana Dion took home Second-Team All-Conference honors. Youngberg was honored as a First-Baseman. The senior batted .368 this season with a total of 32 hits. The Falconer, NY native tallied six doubles, four triples, and a homerun for a total of 26 RBIs. She had a .563 slugging percentage, .414 on-base percentage, and a .983 fielding percentage.
Dion was honored as a Third-Baseman. The Watsontown, PA native led the team in batting average as she batted .369, hits with 38, and RBIs with 31. The sophomore tallied nine doubles, and a triple, while swiping 17 bases. She posted a .476 slugging percentage, a .387 on-base percentage, and .905 fielding percentage.
Trinity Scott was the final Pioneers to receive All-Conference honors as she was named to the Third-Team. Scott led the team in stolen bases as she stole 33 bases. The sophomore batted .360 with 36 hits. She tallied three doubles, and a triple, while driving in 15 runs.
