Alfred, NY- The Alfred State Women's Lacrosse team suffered a tough loss under the lights against the Buffalo State Bengals, 14-1. The Pioneers are now 6-3 on the season, with conference play right around the corner.

The Bengals jumped on the board early and continued to keep the Pios offense at bay. Buffalo State would go on to net 13 goals before
Karlee Hargather found her opportunity on a free position shot to score ASC's lone goal. With only four minutes left of play after Hargather's goal, the Pioneers were unable to make the comeback they were looking for all game.

The Bengals closed out the game with a final goal to make the score 14-1.

Alfred State will be back on their home turf this Thursday to take on Keuka College, game time set for 5:30 pm.
