Brockport, NY- The Alfred State Indoor Men's Track and Field team competed at the SUNYAC Championships this weekend. Six Pioneers qualified for the AARTFC's and the team placed sixth overall with a score of 39.5.

Christian Wescott crossed the finish line in first place in the 800m, with an impressive time of 1:56.56. This time qualified him for the AARTFC's

In the triple jump,
Aden Alexander notched fourth place with a best jump of 13.66 meters, qualifying him for the AARTFC's.

Greg Raymond also took home fourth place but in the weighted throw with a best of 16.93 meters, qualifying him as well.

In the pole vault,
Ben VanVranken secured second place with a best jump 4.55 meters, which was a qualifying score. VanVranken is now sixth all-time in ASC history in pole vault.

Tyler Konter and
Jordan White both qualified for the AARTFC's in the long jump, Konter coming in nineth with a best of 6.78 meter jump and White in 10
th with a best of 6.77 meters.

Gavin Stearns notched third place in the high jump with a best of 1.90 meters and
Dean Brainard took home fifth with a best of 1.85 meters.

The AARTFC's will take place next Friday and Saturday in New York, NY. Times still to be determined.
