Rochester, NY- The Alfred State Women's Indoor Track and Field team traveled north to the Nazareth D3 Elite Invite this Friday and Saturday. One Pioneer took home a first place finish and secured an AARTFC qualification.
 
Oli Kraynik took home first place in the 400m Invite with a finishing time of 58.30. This qualified her for the AARTFC's.
 
Emily Richardson notched second place in the high jump with a best of 1.63 meters. Alysha Calvo then placed 10^th in the high jump as well, with a best jump of 1.43 meters.
 
In the 400m, Nichole Leitten took home fourth place with a finish time of 1:05.61.
 
In the weighted throw, Lily Rafferty notched 11^th place with a best throw of 12.99 meters. Janiesha Durney took home 15^th place with a best throw of 12.34 meters. Durney also grabbed 13^th place in shot put, with a best throw of 10.28 meters.
 
The Pioneers head to Houghton next Saturday, the 21^st.
