Pioneers Opened With Two Top-50 Finishes

Rochester, NY- The Alfred State men's cross-country team opened the year with an eighth-place finish at the Bockport Tom Balon Alumni Classic.

Christian Wescott was the first Pioneer across the line as he finished 20th with a time of 16:07.7. Max Knight crossed the line a few seconds later with a time of 16:40.3 to take 45th place. Then the freshmen trio of Andrew Coriaty, Carson Hulka, and Nolan Lebaron finished in 91st, 118th, and 128th respectively.

Rounding out the rest of the Pioneer roster was Mamadou Barry in 129th, Liam Hudson in 131st, Grayson Montague in 140th, Aiden Jasper in 143rd, and Christian Spreizer in 154th.

Alfred State will take next weekend off before heading back to Rochester, NY for the Yellow Jacket Invitational on September 20th.
