Houghton, NY – The Alfred State men's cross-country team finished 8
th out of 16 teams at the Highlander invitational. Two Pioneers finished in the top 100 finishers.
Christian Wescott, who was the first to finish for Alfred, set a new school record with a time of 25:17.9 in 8
th place.
Max Knight grabbed a 26
th place finish with a time of 26:03.9.
Andrew Coriaty registered a time of 28:22.0 in 110
th place and
Mamadou Barry followed in 128
th place, finishing with a time of 28:34.3.
Liam Hudson and Nolan Lebaron finished in 163
rd and 164
th, with their finishing time being 29:41.4 and 29:42.3 respectively. Two places later,
Carson Hulka finished with a time of 29:44.0. In 179
th place,
Aiden Jasper registered 30:40.4 as his time.
Grayson Montague finished with a time of 31:52.0 in 192
nd place.
Christian Spreizer rounded out the group with a finish of 36:11.1 in 207
th place.
The Pioneers will head next to the Canisius Alumni Classic on October 18
th.
