Meadville, PA- Both of the Alfred State track and field team competed at the Gator Invitational yesterday as the last chance meet to hit AARTFC Championship Standards.
In the women's 100 meter dash,
Haley Beman finished first with a time of 12.96.
Charis Evans followed in third after crossing in 14.61 seconds.
Then in the women's shot-put,
Janiesha Dureny finished ninth after a best throw of 10.84 meters.
Madison Snayczuk and Beman finished fifth and sixth respectively in the women's long jump. Snayczuk notched a best jump of 5.14 meters, while Beman put in a best jump of 5.11 meters. On the men's side,
Isaac Rivet finished seventh with him hitting 6.10 meters twice.
In the men's Javelin throw,
Kyle Kapichok came in ninth after a best throw of 45.12 meters.
Aden Alexander hit the AARTFC standard in the men's triple jump, after a best jump of 13.55 meters on his second attempt.
