Brockport, NY- The Alfred State Men's Track and Field team competed at the Brockport Outdoor Multi and Invitational where pole vaulter,
Ben VanVranken qualified for the AARTFCs.

VanVranken notched third place in the pole vault final with a best vault finish of 4.46 meters earning him a spot at the AARTFCs.

In the 4x100, the team of
Jordan White,
Tyler Konter,
Aden Alexander and Marco Quinteros notched second place with an impressive time of 45.06. The team of
Dean Brainard,
Gavin Stearns,
Geoff Helms and
Jayden Brown crossed the line right after in third place with a time of 46.15.

In the 4x400, the team of
Nick Drabinski,
Mamadou Barry,
Ethan Hanford and
Christian Wescott took home second place with an impressive time of 3:32.95. The team of Brown,
Matt Scott, Grayson Montague and Connor Schreiber grabbed fifth place with a time of 3:39.88.

Wescott would take home first place in the 1500m with a solid time of 4:05.84.

In the 400m hurdles, Scott earned fifth place with a time of 1:02.86.

Tyler Lantrip snagged fourth place in the shot-put final with a best throw of 13.21 meters.

In the javelin throw final,
Kyle Kapichok took home first place with a best throw of 45.14 meters. He also notched second place in the discus throw with a best throw of 41.26 meters.

The Pioneers will host their Alumni Open this Friday, events beginning at 3 pm.
