Alfred, NY- The Alfred State Women's Lacrosse team cranked out their third win of the season against the Hilbert Hawks in today's snowy match-up, 14-2.

Abigail Lussier led the Pioneers today with an impressive seven goals.
Alaina Kaczmarczyk also aided the Pios with two of her own goals.
The Pios immediately started tacking on goals, the first by
Jaiden Williams at the 12:44 minute mark, assisted by Lussier. Lussier would quickly follow Williams, notching her own goal not even 30 seconds later, 2-0. Kaczmarczyk found the back of the net for her seventh goal of the season at the six-minute mark.

In the second period, Lussier found the net four times.
Madison Le also netted a goal with two minutes left to play, assisted by
Ella Fyock. ASC would go into half up eight to zero.

Four minutes into the third period,
Erica Jackson earned her second goal of the season, putting the Pios now up by nine. The Hawks were able to score their one goal during the third, 9-1. Lussier would notch her sixth goal of the game quickly followed by a
Jenna Brown goal assisted by Lussier. This sends the Pios into the last period 11-1.
Kaczmarczyk would grab another goal in the fourth,
Karlee Hargather notching her second assist of the day.
Allison Bateson grabbed her fourth goal of the season with five minutes left on the clock. Hilbert would notch one more goal on the day before the Pios were able to shut them down and take home the win, 14-2.

The Pioneers are back on their home turf this weekend for senior day, Saturday at 3 pm against the Mount Aloysius Mounties.
