Selinsgrove, PA- The Men's Track and Field team did well at the Jim Taylor Invite this weekend, with
Ben VanVranken earning a third-place title in the pole vault final.

On day one, in the hammer throw,
Greg Raymond notched nineth place with a best throw of 46.02 meters.

On day two, a team of
Dean Brainard,
Tyler Konter,
Geoff Helms and
Gavin Stearns notched a seventh place title in the 4x100 with a time of 44.97.
Christian Wescott placed 10
th in the 1500m final with a time of 4:14.73.
Max Knight placed 11
th in the 5000m final with a time of 17:00.80.
In the Jim Taylor Memorial 4x400 a team of
Ethan Hanford,
Mamadou Barry,
Nick Drabinski and Wescott finished in 10
th place with a time of 3:34.42.
Brandon Russell notched sixth place in the discus throw with a best throw of 41.06 meters. Raymond came in right behind Russell in seventh place with a best throw of 40.37 meters.
In the long jump final, Konter would earn eighth place with a best jump of 6.51 meters. Konter would also place seventh in the triple jump with a best of 12.93 meters.
Brainard notched seventh in the high jump with a best jump of 1.79 meters.
Talan Green would notch nineth as well with a best of 1.79 meters.
The Pios will head to Geneseo this Friday and Saturday for the Geneseo Early Season Invite!
