Erie, PA- The Alfred State Men's Basketball team suffered a loss in tonight's week day match-up against Penn State Behrend, 79-46. Two Pioneers still managed to notch double-digit points on the night.

Leading the Pioneers was
Michael Miller with 19 points, as he averages almost 18 a game. Trailing behind him was
Mason Putnam with 11 points on the night.

ASC started the game off strong with a Miller three that was quickly followed by a Lions bucket. Six minutes into the first half, the Pios knocked down three back to back threes, ignited by
Dylan Perry followed by two from Putnam, as they led the game 20-7. The Lions would then go on to catch up with the Pioneers, decreasing their lead. Behrend found their momentum and took control of the first half, 41-26 going into halftime.

The Lions would start off the second half just as strong, ASC clawing for any bucket they can get. Behrend kept a solid lead over the Pioneers as they took home the win, 79-46.

The Pios will be back on the court for their last regular season match-up this weekend at Carlow, tip off set for 2 pm.
