Erie, PA- The Alfred State Women's Swim and Dive team took home two wins in today's meet against Penn State Behrend and Wheeling University, 142-139 and 166-108 respectively.

To start off the meet,
Alyssa James,
Emma Merrick,
Mallory O'Keefe and
Madison Snayczuk took first place in the 200-medley relay, setting a new Alfred State and AMCC Conference Record with a time of 1:49.09. In the 200 freestyle relay, a team of Snayczuk, James, O'Keefe and
Gabriela Leite notched a first place win with a time of 1:39.08.

Mallory O'Keefe also set the new Alfred State and AMCC Conference record in the 100 butterfly with a time of 58.00, finishing in first. She also brought home first place in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:12.50.

Snayczuk earned herself two first place finishes in the 100 and 200 freestyle with respective times of 54.12 and 1.59.41.

Merrick notched two first place finishes as well, in the 100 and 200 breaststroke with respective times of 1:09.48 and 2:32.79. She also placed second in the 200 IM with a time of 2:18.26

In the 100 backstroke, James came in first place with a time of 1:00.14. She also came in second place in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:13.90.

Leite placed first in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.35 and then placed second in the 100 freestyle with a time of 56.40.

Lydia Lapierre notched herself a first place title in the 500 freestyle with a time if 5:34.66. She also came in fourth place in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:48.75.

Hailey Kumpf placed third in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.94 and also placed fourth in the 100 freestyle with a time of 58.13.

In diving,
Shelby Nerber notched two, second place titles in the 1- and 3-meter dives, with respective scores of 149.30 and 156.80.
