Pioneers Have Good Outing At Ithaca Bomber Invite

Ithaca, NY- The Alfred State men's track and field team had a great outing at the Ithaca Bomber Invite.

In the mile run, Christian Wescott moves into sixth all-time after crossing the line in 4:30.45. He would take 16th in the event.

In the Pole Vault, Ben VanVranken had a best jump of 4.30 meters to take fourth place. With that mark, he is tied for 10th all-time.

In the Long Jump, Aden Alexander took fifth with a best jump of 6.53 meters. He followed with a seventh-place finish in the triple jump, after a best jump of 13.23 meters. Also in the long jump, Jordan White took 17th place with a best jump of 6.13 meters.

Then in the Weight Throw, Brandon Russell took 17th place after throwing 13.37 meters. Tyler Lantrip took 10th place in the shot put after throwing 13.27 meters.
