Huntingdon, PA- The Alfred State men's basketball team fell on the road against the Juniata Eagles today, 97-65. With this loss, the Pioneers are now 1-4 on the season.

On the court,
Darius Cunningham Jr. led with 21 points, grabbing five rebounds and delivering three assists.
Ben Sneddon notched 12 points and five rebounds while
Avery Cunningham secured nine rebounds on the day.

The Eagles hit the board first, tallying eight points before the Pios could even retaliate. The closest the Pioneers got to closing the deficit Juniata created was when
Mykell Lawson got fouled outside of the key, drawing and notching three free throws, 24-17. At half, Alfred was trailing by 20 points, 47-27.

The Eagles never let up, as the Pioneers couldn't find the board until the 15 minute mark when Sneddon dropped a three assisted by
JJ Howard. Juniata shut down the Pios and took home the win, 97-64.

Alfred will hit the road once again as they travel to Buffalo, NY to take on Buffalo State on Tuesday, tip off set for 7 pm.
