Cresson, PA- The Alfred State Men's Basketball team competed hard against the Mounties this afternoon, but could not make the comeback they were looking for, as they took a loss on the road, 90-73.
Dylan Perry had a career-high game as he notched 21 points on the day.

Along with Perry,
Michael Miller tallied 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
Mason Putnam also added 11 points in the game.

Perry started the game out strong for the Pioneers as he landed the first bucket off the game. The Mounties were quick to fight back, creating a tense and exciting match-up. At the end of the first half, the Pios were down 17 points, 56-29.
The second half began with two free-throws by Putnam, as the Pios were not ready to give up. Perry continued to make important points for ASC with Miller dropping buckets as well. ASC went on a promising six-point rally started by a Miller layup, Putnam following along with Perry, 66-54. The Pioneers were unable to grasp a bigger comeback as the Mounties took home the win, 90-73.

The Pioneers are now 2-11 on the season, 1-3 in conference play. They will take on the Penn State Altoona Lions this Saturday, on their home court, tip off set for 1 pm.
