Greensburg, PA- The Alfred State Men's Basketball team could not overcome the Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats, 92-56. The Pios record is now 2-10 overall, 1-2 in conference play.
 
The Pioneers were led by Mason Putnam, as he notched a 17-point game. Mekhi Belcher also tallied 10 points on the board and grabbing six rebounds. Darius Cunningham Jr. tacked on nine points and four rebounds on the day. 
 
Both ASC and the Bobcats started out strong in the first half. Braedyn Chambry put the first two points on the board, Putnam following. The Pioneers kept battling as the Bobcats were able to take a 17-point lead at half, 43-26. The Pios were unable to make a comeback in the second half as the Bobcats took home the win, 92-56.
 
ASC will be back on the court Wednesday, at Mount Aloysius, tip off set for 1 pm.
