Houghton, NY- The Alfred State Men's Track and Field team earned impressive finishes at the Highlander Invite.

Christian Wescott notched a second-place finish in the mile run with an impressive time of 4:34.49.
Max Knight was close behind Wescott, placing sixth with a time of 4:40.41.

In the 400-meter run,
Nick Drabinski placed 15
th with a time of 54.98.

In the high jump,
Dean Brainard and
Talan Green both had a best jump of 1.69 meters landing them a 11
th place finish.

Ben VanVranken notched second place in the pole vault with a best jump of 4.15 meters. JT Mariotti came in sixth place with a best jump of 3.55 meters.
Dylan Cannon also had a best jump of 2.95 meters, earning him a eighth place title.

Aden Alexander notched third place in the triple jump with a best of 13.28 meters.
Tyler Konter placed 11
th with a best jump of 12.09 meters,
Isaac Rivet right behind him with a jump of 12.03 meters, in 12
th place.

In shot put,
Tyler Lantrip had a best throw of 12.51 meters.
Jairo Agosto notched ninth place with a best throw of 12.30 meters. In the weighted throw,
Greg Raymond had a best throw of 14.95 meters landing him third place. Brandon Russel and
Kyle Kapichok notched sixth and seventh place with respective throws of 13.97 and 13.37 meters. Agosto grabbed ninth place with a best throw of 12.66 meters.

In the 4x400 final, a team of Ethan Handord,
Mamadou Barry, Wescott and Drabinski notched a ninth place finish with a time of 3:43.20.
