Morrisville, NY- The Alfred State Women's Soccer team battled for 90 minutes against Morrisville today, ending in a tie 0-0. This puts their overall season record at 1-1-1.
The Pioneers fought hard, desperately trying to make contact with the back of the net in today's match up against the Mustangs. ASC took a total of 13 shots on goal today, while Morrisville only took 8.
Kate Sproul was in the net for the Pios, tallying 4 saves on the day. Both teams were working aggressively, neither able to tack on a goal, ending the game in a tie, 0-0.
The Pioneers will be back on Wednesday in Alfred to take on our neighbors Alfred University, kick off set for 7 pm.
