ASC Drops Rough Match Against The Gators

Alfred, NY- The Alfred State Women's Soccer team took a rough loss today against the Allegheny Gators, 7-0. This brings the Pioneers record to 2-4-1 on the season.
 
The Gators came out strong, scoring their first goal within 5 minutes, getting a jump early on ASC. The Pioneers weren't phased as they continued to battle, until another Gator was able to find the net in the 18th minute. Unfortunately for the Pios, Allegheny netted two more goals in the first half, making it 4-0 after 45 minutes.
 
ASC struggled in the second half as well, allowing three more goals by the Gators. This sealed the deal as Allegheny took home the win, 7-0.
 
The Pios will be back this Tuesday on the road to Houghton, kickoff at 7pm.
