Elmira, NY- The Alfred State women's soccer team falls 5-1 in a hard-fought match-up against Elmira. The Pioneers move to 2-3-1 on the season.
Karlee Hargather scored the Pioneers lone goal, while Kate Sproul tallied five saves.
Elmira got off to a hot start netting the first three goals of the game. The Pioneers would answer with a goal in the 51st minute. Hargather would net her first goal of the season as she found the lower left part of the goal. This cut the lead to 3-1. The Soaring Eagles responded with two goals to get the 5-1 win over the Pioneers.
ASC will return home this Saturday 9/21 for a game against Allegheny at 2 pm.
