Pioneers Fall To The Cougars

Alfred, NY- The Alfred State Women's Soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss against Chatham in a hard-fought match. Their record is now 1-1 on the season.
 
The Pioneers defense were able to hold off the Cougars offense in the first period. Kate Sproul tallied 3 saves in the first half. In the second half, Chatham netted a goal in the 85th minute. The Cougars were able to hold off the Pioneers, securing them the 1-0 victory.
 
The Pios take the field again next Saturday at Morrisville, game time set for 4:30 pm.
