Christensen Won The 60 Meter Dash While Setting A School Record

Rochester, NY- The Alfred State men's track and field team competed at the Naz Tune Up Meet.

Mekhi Christensen notched a win in the 60-meter dash, after running a 6.95. With that time, he set a new school record and became an AARTFC qualifier. He would claim eighth place in the 200-meter run with a time of 23.29.

Maxwell Chiarella had a top 15 finish in the 1000-meter run, as he crossed the line 2:50.23.

Aden Alexander notched an eighth-place finish in the long jump with a distance of 6.43. He would then tally a fourth-place finish in the triple jump with a distance of 13.09.

Greg Raymond came away with a fifth-place finish in the weight throw after throwing 15.42 meters.
