Cortland, NY- The Alfred State Women's Swim and Dive team took a loss to Cortland 177-108.

Madison Snayczuk came in 2
nd place in two events, the 100 freestyle with a time of 55.27 and the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:01.65.
Alyssa James also came in second in two events, the first being the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:05.74, and the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:24.38.

Emma Merrick came in first for the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:35.75. She then came in second in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:1146.
Mallory O'Keefe notched herself two second place finishes, in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:20.47 and in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:32.77.
Gabriela Leite also tacked on a second place finish in the 50 freestyle with a time of 27.29.
Lydia Lapierre won the 200 IM with a solid time of 2:41.79, Jennifer Dickens coming in right behind her in second place with a time of 3:02.00.

Haleena Reygers notched a win in the 1 meter dive with a final score of 147.98.
Shelby Nerber came in at second place in the same event with a final score of 135.08.

Snayczuk, James, Merrick and O'Keefe won both the 200 freestyle relay and the 200 medley relay, with respective times of 1:44.37 and 1:54.48.
Adriana Gill, Dickens,
Ariana Hicks and Lapierre finished in second place in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 2:02.66.

The Pioneers head to Penn State Altoona next weekend to swim against the Lions at 1 pm.
