Altoona, PA- The Alfred State Women's Soccer team traveled to Penn State Altoona to face the Lions in a match up, resulting in a hard-fought tie 0-0. The Pioneers are now 3-5-3 on the season.
 
Coming off an intense tie against Pitt-Brad with a Pio hat-trick, ASC was eager to get back on the field. The Lions overall record is 1-6-2, making this an evenly fair match-up. The Pioneers took 10 impressive shots on goal but simply could not find the back of the net, Altoona having the same obstacle. Kate Sproul guarded the net in today's match-up, totaling four saves on the day. The Pioneers and Lions concluded today's contest with a tie, 0-0.
 
ASC heads to Hilbert this Wednesday, kickoff set for 4pm.
